The collection

Six scents, poured to order

Every candle lists its scent notes from first light (top) to the scent that lingers (base), plus its burn time.

Candle care

Get every hour out of the jar

Follow these four steps and your candle burns evenly to the bottom without tunnelling.

  1. Make the first burn a long one

Let the melt pool reach the edge of the jar, usually 2 to 3 hours. Wax remembers its first burn.

  2. Trim the wick to ¼ inch

Trim before every light. A short wick gives a steady flame and keeps soot off the glass.

  3. Burn no more than 4 hours

After 4 hours the wick mushrooms and the flame grows. Blow it out, let it cool, and relight later.

  4. Stop at ½ inch of wax

Leave the last half inch in the jar. Then scoop it out with warm water and reuse the vessel.

Our story

Started at a kitchen stove, still poured by hand

We began pouring candles as gifts for friends and family. People kept asking for refills, so we kept pouring.

Today we still work in small batches. We blend our wax by hand, test every scent through a full burn before it goes on sale, and pack each order ourselves.

Our jars are made to be reused. Bring an empty one back to the studio and we will refill it at a discount.
